The first time we met this homeowner, she did not meet some of our Aging in place qualifications. She was not of age and the scope of work needed to the home was quite a bit more than we allow or could afford for this project.
About 2 years later, we were asked by a church group to do an assessment on the home which had only gotten worse. The owner had also had an older daughter with disabilities living with her but had recently been awarded to the state for proper care.
.We partnered with the church and were able to combine our funds and abilities we had the existing mobile home removed and replaced. With a much newer one. We replaced the entire bathroom, much of the electrical and plumbing in the new home. We added skirting and a front and back porch as well.
